  • Contact the City Administrator’s Office when:

    • You have a concern that involves multiple departments

    • You have questions about City-wide policies, budget, or long-range plans

    • You are a business, developer, or partner organization seeking to work with the City

    • You need help and are not sure which department to contact

    For routine service issues (water bill questions, bulk waste hours, park reservations, etc.), it’s usually fastest to contact the specific department first.

    Staff will help route your question, schedule a meeting if needed, or connect you with the appropriate department.

  • You may contact the City Administrator’s Office or your City Council member to share concerns and ideas. For service requests (potholes, code issues, parks maintenance, etc.), contacting the appropriate department directly will usually provide the quickest response, but the City Administrator’s Office is always available to help route your request.

  • The City Council sets overall policy and approves the annual budget, major contracts, and long-term plans. The City Administrator and staff develop recommendations, manage projects and contracts, and handle daily operational decisions within that direction and budget.

  • The City Administrator’s Office helps support and coordinate several City boards and advisory committees, including Parks & Recreation, Airport, Planning & Zoning, and others. Recommendations from these boards typically flow to the City Administrator and then to the City Council for consideration.

  • Yes. The City Administrator attends City Council meetings, provides reports and professional recommendations, answers questions from the Council, and helps ensure that Council policy decisions are implemented by City staff.
