Former Nursing Home Brownfields Cleanup Project Documents Now Available

The City of Hamilton is continuing progress on the Former Nursing Home Brownfields Cleanup Project located at 400 W. Grogan Street. As part of the City’s commitment to transparency, environmental stewardship, and responsible redevelopment, key project documents are now available online for public review.

This important project is funded through the EPA Brownfields Program and represents another step toward improving safety, addressing environmental concerns, and supporting future opportunities for the property and surrounding area.

Project Focus

The cleanup project includes environmental remediation activities associated with asbestos-containing materials identified within the former nursing home structure. All work is being conducted in accordance with federal and state environmental regulations using licensed professionals, independent monitoring, and established public safety procedures.
