Sex Offenders & Child Safety Zones
The City of Hamilton has adopted residency and safety-zone restrictions for certain registered sex offenders under
Ordinance 08-18. The ordinance defines “child safety zones” and restricts certain conduct within and near those areas.

The City of Hamilton does not operate a municipal police department. Law enforcement services within the city limits are provided by the
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. For non-emergency questions, call (254) 386-8128. Always call 911 for emergencies.
