The FY2026–2027 budget supports HEDC operations, business growth and retention, Main Street initiatives, marketing and tourism, site readiness, and strategic economic development projects.

Prior-Year Project Commitments
In addition to the FY2026–2027 operating budget, HEDC has designated $141,100 in prior-year resources for previously approved projects and grant commitments. These funds are shown separately and do not increase the FY2026–2027 operating budget.

Financial Accountability
HEDC works in coordination with the City of Hamilton for financial support services, including accounting, financial reporting, payment processing, reconciliation, and budget administration.
Throughout the fiscal year, HEDC reviews financial performance, sales tax collections, project commitments, and budget-to-actual activity to support responsible use of public resources.
